SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
Primary Treatment:
Effluent is taken to Equalization tank through bar screen floating mass and
solid materials. The Effluent is collected in the equalization tank to avoid
any septic condition. This also helps mix the effluent properly and reduces
any chance of its dilutions. Effluent is pumped in Reaction cum Flocculation
Tank with the help of acid-alkaline handling PP / CI effluent feed pump.
After filling the tank Coagulant & Flocculants dosing is carried out through
the Coagulation & Flocculation Tank. With the help of coagulation &
Flocculation we decrease COD & BOD and also we remove Non-
Biodegradable suspended solids. For mixing of Coagulant & Flocculants we
use mechanical agitator or Aeration system. After this treatment we give
some retention time for primary sludge settling thus sludge will be settled
down & it is passed to SDB and superfast is passed to Intermediate Tank.
Tertiary treatment:
Treated water will be further polished in the Dual media filters. This is
called as Tertiary treatment.
Filtered water will be collected in the Irrigation water tank from where it
will be pumped to the Irrigation system or dispose it.
Sludge dewatering system
Sludge generated in the system will be diverted to Sludge Drying Bed
system by gravity. The excess sludge collected from the bottom of Reaction
cum Flocculation tank and passed on to sludge drying Bed. It can be
periodically scrapped off from there and disposed, as per waste managment system.
